Panthers Place Second at VSU All-Comers Meet
ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia Union University men’s track and field team took a second place finish at the VSU All-Comers Meet, posting 114.5 total team points. 
The VUU throwers, led by reigning CIAA Indoor Shot Put Champion Marquis Davis, accounted for 45 of the Panthers’ 114.5 points.

VUU Takes Third Place at Moultrie Invitational
BOWIE, MD – The VUU men’s track and field team posted 86.5 points, landing them in third place in the Inaugural Moultrie Invitational. The Invitational was hosted by Bowie State University, who won the men’s division of the meet, recording 167 total team points.

VUU’s Marquis Davis Claims CIAA Indoor Track Shot Put Crown
NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Virginia Union University’s Marquis Davis (6-0/245/JR/Richmond, VA) won the shot put competition at the 2008 CIAA Indoor Track Championships with a throw of 13.99 meters (45-10.75). Davis is also a member of the VUU football team, which claimed the 2007 CIAA Eastern Division Championship.
