Sophomore Teaunsha Robinson scored a game-high of 16 points to lead Bowie State to a 50-44 division win over the Virginia Union University Lady Panthers (6-13, 3-10 CIAA, 1-4 in the East). 
 
            Bowie State (11-9 overall, 10-3 CIAA 4-1 in the East) held a four point halftime advantage (22-18) on seven-of-22 field goal shooting. Virginia Union began the second half with an 8-2 run until Danita Hill stopped the run with a break away lay-up.

At halftime the score was 25-27 Shaw. Union came out with a fighting desire having their largest lead by 4 points, until Shaw went on a 10–2 run the last five minutes of the game
