Virginia Union Athletics

Richmond, VA- Virginia Union University (7-17, 4-15 CIAA) played a tough game but could not stop Shaw University 48-56 last night in Barco-Stevens Hall.  

Tonaye Smith led the team with 13 points going five-of-sixteen from the field and three-for-four at the charity strip.  

Teammate Yuvonna Stevens pulled down a team high of ten rebounds.

The Panthers will travel to Elizabeth City State University on Saturday, February 21^st at 1:00pm.
