Melvin Edison became a All-American

Houston, TX – Junior, 60m Hurdles, Melvin Edison, became the first All-American in Track & Field for Va. Union since 1997. Edison finished in sixth place with a time of 8.16 seconds at the inaugural Division II Winter Festival on Saturday March 14, 2009.
Both men and women teams now turn their attention to the outdoor season which begins in Petersburg, VA at Virginia State University Outdoor Season Opener on March 23, 2009.
